Greetings to all KBC Youths ! Blessings in the name of the Lord for those of you who follow up on this blog and support the growth of our Youth =) It looks like a very busy month of August full of events that are upcoming such as our NLBC sleepover @ Ijok on the 30-31 August, KBC Open-Dialogue on 31 August and plenty more such as Run for The Nation and others.
To those of you who went with me to KLBC's ADORE '09 Youth Concert on the 22 August, I'm sure you guys would agree with me 100% when I said KLBC Youth rocked the house right? Haha, to those of you who missed out on this event, we had so much fun and did a lot of shouting and singing until we were nearly out of voice by the time the event had ended, To give a glimpse to those of you who didn't come with us, would be kinda hard because the events were so great haha. The Praise and Worship team, awesome! Skilled guitarists, great choir backup, superb drumming and wonderful song leaders, not to mention a great mix of Planetshakers and Hillsong songs to cheer and sing to our Lord =) There was also an awesome breakdance/worship dance done by the Youths of KLBC using a rap version of Amazing Grace, unique and eye-catching I must say haha. Followed up a meaningful and heart touching drama by the Youths about how the love of Jesus in our lives can change even the worst of sinners and lonely souls. Gotta give credit to the actors who put in weeks of effort and time to make this possible, God bless them to continue their work =) Not to mention, no concert was complete without a short introduction of our very own Savior to a number of the multitude who wanted to accept Christ into their hearts after seeing the wonderful love of God that is in their lives =) The Youth director a.k.a Leader gave a short but brief and touching message of Salvation for those who were eager to hear more. Now, I know that that the event had fulfilled it's purpose in bringing more people to know Christ, praise God =) Overall, the event served both it's greater purpose and entertained us all, and my hope is that there will be an ADORE '10 next year haha. By God's will, I pray that it is possible, Amen =)

Hey there fellow Youths of KBC and children of God =) Happy living your lives? A friendly reminder not to forget to thank God whether in happiness or sorrow for what you guys have in life. & remember His great 2 commandments, love the Lord with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy might and with all thy mind and love your neighbours as yourselves =)
Anyway, before I get carried away, I'm here to announce a few things.
For those of you who are interested for going to the Adore 09 concert that's being held @ KL Baptist, please write your names on the Youth board as soon as possible as the Leaders want to start organizing transport. It's on Saturday(22nd August) expected to leave church at about possibly 4.00pm as there will be a carnival(not set yet) Further details can be obtained by consulting Florence Wee, thank you =)
Also, regarding the T.O.U.R event, or as you all call it the Amazing Race, the organizers MYFC are currently a little short-handed on people to help out on the day itself and have asked us KBC Youth to help assist in any way possible. So I personally urge some of you to come up and do something to glorify Christ as this event will require Christians to share the Gospel to non-Christians. Think of it as an opportunity to serve the Lord and doing these neighbours a favour as you wouldn't want them not knowing about the sweet message of salvation thru Jesus right? As it's being held during the holidays(26 August), I don't see it being a problem in timing matter. So please , lend a helping hand as Brothers/Sisters in Christ =)
To those of you who will be going to visit the Orang Asli for KBC's own mission trip on the 28-29 August, my sincerest congratulations! You will receive double blessings from the Lord for doing something very right in His eyes. As most of you may know, these people are really really poor if you have been paying attention to Pastor Stephen Lu speaking for these past few weeks. Isn't it an honour to serve the Lord and at the same time help these people who are more in need than we do? Makes you think carefully of the blessings you have that these people don't right? We from the Youth pray that those of you who will be departing for this journey will learn more and more from your senior figures like Pastor Stephen and Pastor Moses on how to lead people someday and live a live fulfilling to God. With that, we commit this trip and the people onto Your hands O Father, AMEN ! =)
As some of you may know, we will be having a sleepover at our KBC branch in Ijok, Kuala Selangor on 30-31 August. Not much details have been announced but rest assured, everybody will be notified soon =)

Hey there Youths and bless you for those of you who have been keeping track of the KBC Youth blog posts =) Anyway, there's a few things for me to write to you guys(ignore the time of posting it's totally wrong)
First off, I like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the Youth Leaders and all Youth members for making our KBC Kepong and Ijok Branch Interchurch Event as success =) To those of you who were not present, on last Sunday (12/07/19) KBC Youths(Kepong) payed a friendly visit to our branch in Ijok. And no kidding! It's a long journey, Ijok is in Kuala Selangor and not to mention to trip took about 30 mins. So, I'm really thankful to God and the drivers who had to tirelessly drive such a long distance fetching everybody there and back home. As for the activities, we were greeted warmly with the usual icebreaker and introductions. Moving on to Praise and Worship and finally had a short Bible sharing. We ended with a funny little game involving the Youth leaders acting as "Catchers" and the rest of the Youths as "Butterflies" Which we later ended with a nice big snack(ABSOLUTELY YUMMY FOOD!) and off to home we went with goodbyes and best wishes =) Not to mention that our Ijok branch looks like an exact twin of KBC?! The chairs, arrangement of equipment, space...haha feels just like home. Anyway, if any of you wanna check out what it was like in Ijok visit my facebook page to see the video itself haha.

Hello boys and girls! First thing first, I wanna apologize for not updating this blog but now I realize that neglecting something as simple as this, what more would happen to my other responsibilities to God? Anyway, thank God that I now realize my mistake haha.
Plenty of stuff to update, but I'll touch on some of the current events that have happened. For the past 2 months, we've had so many events to enjoy namely: Our 40 Days Fast and Pray, 10 Days of Pentecost, our very own KBC Fast and Pray and many more =) Thank God that He graciously gives us the time to prepare for all these events with each of them receiving great response haha. Sister Debbie had also previously had a class regarding our own spiritual gifts and I hope each and everyone of us can use our gifts given by our Father to spread the Good News and give testimonies of His greatness in the future, God bless =)
Some rather sad news too, I'm most of you are aware that our beloved Brother Darren has gone off to Melbourne, Australia to furthur his studies @ RMIT =( But fear not, he WILL come back haha. Till then, you can keep in touch with him through Facebook(although he is busy). Anyway, we should pray for him that he will be safe and healthy as the H1N1 is still around..Darren, study hard!
And some rather amusing news too, seems that our very own Sister Eunice Chee has been chosen to go PLKN(Nasional Service) haha. Should be plenty of fun rite? Although it's a bit too early to celebrate, we here in KBC Youth pray that you will have plenty of fun there, and make many new friends and hopefully share Christ with them hehe =)
Also, to all Youths, this Sunday(12/7) there will be NO YOUTH SERVICE @ KBC but instead we'll be joining our branch in Ijok(NLBC) for the first time haha =) Should be lots of fun and a chance to meet new people, ya? Before that on Saturday, don't forget to get more inquiry about our church's appreciation dinner =) I can't wait haha.

WHAT IS RUN FOR THE NATION?Run For the Nation 2009 is a single morning running event, which sees Christians praying as they run on the roads of selected cities throughout the country. These Runners are grouped into Teams of 3s. Each Team is required to cover 5km of a preselected route passing by homes, schools, commercial and goverment buildings, religious sites and other places of interest. As they run, one will pray aloud and the other two will agree. In order to cover the most ground during the runs it is done relay style using a Prayer Card in place of a baton. If you can run and you can pray, you can be a part of this one kind of event.

Greetings, to you youths out there & thank God I'm back again! Sorry once again because I haven't been writing regularly like I have promised to =( , but I'll try my best to keep you guys posted.
First of all, I wanna express a special thanks to Uncle David organising a great outdoor trip to Sg. Gabai waterfalls last Friday =D I'm sure those of you who came along would know what I mean. It was great fun, eventhough there were plenty of people. A roaring waterfall, lots of water and jungles could mean only one thing, fun in the sun haha. We had a great time getting wet and hiking up the waterfall which was eventually tiring and wet =D Anyway, these pictures speak for themselves.
.

Next up, as John had mentioned, looks like the start of Esther's classroom program has started off quite smoothly I must say =D As a reminder, Esther had shared with us about building good character within ourselves and developing good conduct. Not to mention this is Esther's first time sharing with us here in KBC Youth =D Looks like the seeds sowned are now taking root and growing. So, I hope that all of us will continue to constantly improve ourselves in order to show to the world we, as Christians are not only followers, but doers of the Word of the Lord. Amen? =D

Last but not least, I would like to thank all the Youths on behalf of our crew and organisers for helping out and making today's Family Day Telematch event possible =D Special thanks to the Prayer Warriors for praying for the good weather we had today, for the food, events and more. Thank you to all the familys who participated actively in all these games too =D I'm sure even Ps. Stephen Lu was feeling like a reborn youth today haha. and finally, a big thank to You Lord, our Father, for blessing this special event, the fellowship we had and the fun we all had today ! =D
Tomorrow's service will be held as usual. All Bible study classes, Youth service and Sunday School are off unless give furthur notice. But don't forget, tomorrow is Mothers' Day! So give a big hug to your mum, and say thanks to God for giving each and every one of us a great mother =D
